What to expect on your FIRST VISIT
Your body is a unique machine and therefore requires specific tools to get back in top working condition. In order to give an accurate assessment of your neck, back or health condition a one-on-one relationship is crucial. At the first visit, you can expect Dr. Lizie to complete a thorough chiropractic evaluation of your area of concern and your overall health. Health History In preparation for your consultation with Dr. Lizie, you will be asked to fill out our welcome form to provide background information about your state of health. You will also usually be asked to provide information on family medical history, any pre-existing medical conditions or prior injuries, and previous and current health providers and treatments. Chiropractic Physical Examination Once the history has been completed, Dr. Lizie will perform a thorough health evaluation. In addition to general tests such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and reflexes, Dr. Lizie conducts other non-invasive assessments of your health to evaluate the function of your nervous system and the structural alignment of your body. Will I be treated on my first visit? Typically the first visit consists of a time to gather information about your current state of health. However, if we determine that chiropractic care will be beneficial to you, we may begin treatment on your first visit. What does Chiropractic care consist of? Chiropractic treatment consists of spinal and extremity adjustments, lifestyle recommendations, nutritional recommendations, and may include other Therapies.
